Welcome and I am so glad you stopped by my site ! My name is Laura aka Stitch4Ewe on Ravelry. I have been crocheting for about 35 + years now and you could easily say “I’m hooked” 😉 I also love designing new patterns. People sometimes ask me how long I have been creative…hmm I guess the answer is all my life ! I am just using my creativity in a good and productive manner now LOL …
My motto is “There is never enough wool” and if you lived with me, you’d know that is true! (My dearest Brian is so patient with me and my wool…he is truly my soul mate ! 🙂 )
I am bilingual, I speak both Yankee and Canuck 😉 as I am an American engaged to a Canadian. I can speak a bit of French and Spanish too so if this is your native tongue, please feel free to comment in it. I can’t promise my reply will be perfect, but I will understand your comment ..
I also enjoy our dog…and he is our best friend here. Pictured here with me is Riley, who recently passed on. Soon I will try to update the picture with our new wonderful dog Maya.
Now…to tell you a bit about my site……….
Important section to read…copyright information for patterns I have designed and for the content of this blog. Please read and abide by the copyright as I know you would want people to do for your wonderful creations.
Off The Hook Designs: (coming real soon 😉 )
A listing of my original designs as found in the blog
My section for beginners and all crochers alike–with how to’s and tips on various crochet stitches and methods. Some how to’s I have written, but many are reviews of how-to’s from other sites. So many great crocheters out there have made some fantastic tutorials and I see no point in re-inventing the wheel ! 🙂
If you have any questions, comments or suggestions for topics, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I love getting mail ! 🙂
Additional sections will be coming soon as time, my wedding and training our dog permits 😉

If you stop by to read or browse through, please leave a comment saying hi and where you are from…I love to see who stops by and where in the world they are crocheting !
Happy Hooking my fellow wool lovers !
